I am 32 years old and am having my second baby. All I wanted was a healthy baby girl. Last week I found out that I am at increased risk for having a baby with Downs and am being sent for additional tests. My OB wants me to have the amniocentesis, but I am scared to death of having a miscarrage. I do not want to lose my baby. I am having a consultation this Thursday about the risks with a specialist. I have not been able to stop crying. I want to have my baby regardless, and I think in...

If this is the case, and those both come out GOOD, do I really need to do an Amnio???? I just need advice, guidance, and I know who ever performs the test is a MAJOR factor, how can you get info on the Physician beforehand? Is that possible? Without...
