SPD is a particularly nasty and painful way to spend your pregnancy. SPD is where the joint at the front of your pubic bone starts to separate just a little too much. This can be excruiciatingly painful and debilitating. It hurts to walk, bend or lift things. You will feel very isolated and alone as you know that no-one really understands the pain you are feeling.
