Placenta Accreta, Increta and Percreta are all essecially the same thing but all vary in severity. Placenta Accreta is an abnormal adherance of the placenta to the uterine wall, Increta and Percreta occur when this adherance goes deeper into the wall. Commonly associated with Placenta Previa, Placenta Accreta is not usually diagnosed until delivery and is extremely frightening for any women. The treatment for Placenta Accreta is usually extreme and this forum is for ladies who are worried about if they have Accreta, or those who are dealing with the consequences of Accreta.
