Complications In Pregnancy

Amnio is a test performed to detect fetal abnormalities during your pregnancy. Amnio's can strike fear into the heart of all expectant mothers for many reasons. Firstly, it invloves a larger than normal needle; secondly, this is inserted into your belly, your baby's home; thirdly, it carries a small risk of miscarriage; and finally, it may reveal something wrong with your baby. Most women who are offered an amnio debate extensively as to whether to have it done or not. This forum is to give support for those women trying to decide or who have had it done.
